One Year Later...

Next stop: Italia!

Hard to believe that it has been a year since our wedding in Cincinnati! We broke out the Waterford flutes and champagne [after celebrating Mother's Day, of course!] and got to reflect a little bit while writing in our anniversary journal... so far so good!

We're thankful for all of our family and friends who supported us on our 'Big Day' and throughout the year since. We had a busy year with few 'down' weekends, but that happens when you're blessed with amazing people in your life.

We both turned thirty this year as well, and we know that we've still only just begun our journey together. We can't wait to see what this next year will bring us [at the moment, we're packing for our vacation in Rome!]. We'll try and keep you updated, but life's starting to move pretty fast! Thanks for the visit, and have a great summer!

The Wedding Trailer

Matt Pine and Lifetime Films have posted a longer, two-and-a-half minute trailer for our wedding. To open in a separate window [CLICK HERE] and enter "cassie" as the password [without the quotes!] to see it. Or just input "cassie" above and enjoy!

You'll see clips of pre-wedding prep, Cassie's Grand Entrance, behind-the-scenes at the Athenaeum, a map, nephews, some tears, cake, and, of course, male-on-male ushering! And since it's in High Definition, guests may be able to spot themselves in some of the wider shots of the church...

A videographer was definitely a splurge for us on our wedding day, but we couldn't be happier with the way Lifetime Films shot our wedding. With four cameras rolling at once, they had to get a lot of good material! You can even spot them in our Shutterbooth photos- a nice surprise! These teaser-trailers have whet our appetites for the full-on video [due to arrive in theaters- er- Cassie & Geoff's blu-ray player sometime soon!].

One Month Later...

Hard to believe our Big Day was over a month ago! In the next week or so we should have a longer-cut video as well as access to all of our 'final' wedding pics... in the meantime, here's a few goodies:

Your Mission: Point & Shoot!

We have already hired a fantastic 'official' photographer for the wedding- Bari will take some amazing pictures on our Big Day! But he can't be everywhere at once- so we've set up an account over at Yogile that all of our guests will have access to. We're hoping to have even more candid shots from our weekend with all of you. So here's what you do:

-Take Pictures anytime during the weekend: during your drive into town, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, Saturday morning, wedding, reception, post-reception... it's all good! Group photos, views of Cincinnati or the Ohio River, details at the wedding/reception- whatever catches your eye!

-Upload the Pictures to our online group photo album. There are a couple ways to do this:

     Email individual photos to meyermatteson@yogile.com. Whatever you put as the Subject Line will be the caption for the photo. This works especially well from camera phones.

     Upload multiple photos at once by going to www.yogile.com/meyermatteson and then click on the '+Add More Photos' button. Do this after saving the pictures onto your computer.

The nice thing about this service is that you, too, will have access to all the photos uploaded, and you can download as many pictures other people have taken as you like! No need to sign up for an account or anything... Just go to Cassie & Geoff's Group Album and browse around! We'll try to send out a reminder as the wedding date approaches, and don't hesitate to ask Cassie or Geoff about it if you have any questions. We'd love for some of your photos to make it into our Wedding Album!
